Current average market days for short sales in Puyallup are 147 days. That's higher then we've seen in the other residental stats for October. Like I mentionded before Short Sales take a while to negotiate so if you have time and aren't in a hurry to move at a certain time and you have some flexiblility you would be a great candidate for a making an offer on a short sale.

I love to post about the short sales that are successful from beginning to end for both Buyer and Seller. This property was listing back in June. 2006 built split level with almost 2400 SF in Puyallup. Home was in good condition and seller was very cooperative which is so crucial during the short sale process. Nationstar was the bank, seller only had one mortgage for $295,450. purchased brand new from Soundbuilt Homes back in November of 2007. Awesome results, the bank settled at 189,000 & paid 3% towards buyers closing costs and forgave the loss for the seller. Yeah!
In my opinion, (an experienced short sale Real Estate Broker with my CDPE certification) when the seller truly has a hardship that I can prove, and the luck of a good negotiator…
