Duvall Homes for Sale and Real Estate Listings

If you keep driving on the winding, country roads east of Woodinville, you will eventually reach the charm of King County: Duvall. It is located halfway between Carnation, which lies to the south, and Monroe, which lies to the north. It located at the base of the Cascade Mountains, on State Route 203, about 25 miles from Seattle. With a population of just under 6,000, Duvall truly is a small town, thus it retains that comfortable small town charm. Since it is located a good distance from the larger cities like Seattle and Bellevue, Duvall is the perfect place to live a relaxed lifestyle, but commuting is still manageable. From the moment you enter town, you get an idea of whats to come. A wooden sign reads, "Duvall; next to it an old fashioned wagon acts as a prop. Beyond that, the open pastures lead the eye to a surreal view of the Cascades. Continuing in, Duvalls "Mayberry-like feel becomes even more apparent. The small downtown has a number of independent businesses, such as restaurants and coffee shops. Duvall is a part of the Riverview School District, described as large enough to meet student needs, but small enough to provide individual attention. Many of Duvalls homes are built on acres of land, so there is plenty of room to spread out. One thing is for sure: Duvall is one of the most comfortable towns in the Seattle area to call home.
