Located just north of Seattle, it is a small suburb with a population of just over 13,000 people. It is in the most northern part of King County, as the city’s northern border lies along the Snohomish County line. The sole shopping area in Lake Forest Park mirrors the efforts to keep the town residential in nature. The Lake Forest Park Town Centre has a few chains out of necessity, but the centerpiece of the center is the Third Place Commons. This is a common area full of places to sit, a performance stage and restaurants. The commons also hosts an annual Farmer’s Market from May to October every year. Lake Forest Park is one of the most hidden treasures of the region and a search for real estate will not be regretted.
